Meanwhile, amid other activities, I've been working on the Illinois River Series. I came back home from Tallequah, Oklahoma last weekend and passed literally thousands of canoeists, kayakers and rafters enjoying a beautiful stretch of river along Highway 10. I had no idea!
The value of that river is enormous in terms of those who enjoy it. I hope to do it justice in my paintings.
