Alla Prima Painting

I've been thinking about Robert Pirsig the last couple of days. My art is really about quality and the appreciation of quality. It's about love, too, but I think love of that quality. And like Leonard Cohen's Suzanne, the artist shows us where to look among the garbage and the flowers.
